That looks pretty cool. I bought an Indigo (actually returned the first one since it was wobbly and have one in the closet still in its box) and I think it's *ok*, especially for the price but after reading/seeing the review, I might consider getting this one instead, especially with that bassinet/reversible seat feature.

great review. that stroller is almost perfect. I can't justify buying another stroller though. DH will think I'm nuts since my youngest is 2 years old and hates riding strollers.

I wonder if the Wave will have the same squeaky wheel issues as the Indigo. The bigger canopy is definitely an improvement but the difficult access to the basket is not.

I actually don't like all the "give" that the seat of the Wave has. Seems like it could be rickety in no time.

Having said that, they have managed to come up with a competitor to the Orbit which is much cheaper and does not force kids into a car seat so kudos to First Years for that!

I was set on getting a VISTA, but now I am thinking that the Wave has all the features I wanted and it is a lot cheaper.
Anyone has it? I wonder if the bassinet is as sturdy as the VISTA?
I was planning to us the VISTA bassinet for the baby to sleep in our room for the first 3-4 weeks, and also in the kitchen while cooking

where can I go check it out? who carries the First years Wave?

I don't think you can use it as a stand alone bassinet like the vista's, if that's what you had in mind. It doesn't have the structure. But that price, you could just buy a bassinet as well.

i MUCH prefer regular bassinets that are nice and cozy, not stroller ones. i don't know why anyone uses a stroller bassinet at nighttime! seems weird.

I was thinking the same thing. I felt like I could see a lot of bounce while watching the video review. Looks cool though. Would love to see one in person.

I think they're very different kinds of bassinet. You could definitely use the Vista's for overnight, but I don't think the Wave's would be good for that, because it's made of other materials, has the harness, etc. The Vista's has a mattress, is sturdier, more like a regular "home" bassinet. I like the idea of the Wave bassinet for when you're out with the baby, though.

Well there's some very nice bassinets out there for strollers and not all of them have canvas and straps. The Vista bassinet is nice and cozy IMO. And a friend has a Jane one that's gorgeous.

Thanks for the advice.
I've saw the VISTA at BBB and the bassinet is really sturdy, that's why I like it, and the car seat adapter fits my car seat choice perfectly, so it works very well as a travel system.
Also, the idea of being able to leave the house without even moving the baby is very appealing to me, maybe I am just lazy. I dunno, this is my first one so whatever seems like a good idea may not be.
I think I am going with the VISTA
I fell in love when I saw it, and I've seen a lot of posh moms pushing it around and it looks amazing, the price just hurts a little bit.....
The wave looks cute though
