Default Does every day feel like a race or is it just me?

Every day, I find myself panting and anxious about not getting something done on time. We keep having these major nuisance things like mice, then a huge hassle with Medco mail order pharmaceuticals, then flea bombing, etc. I'm just kinda overwhelmed by trying to take care of 3 small DC and deal with these events. I do have help cleaning the house, some babysitting help, and a massive amount of help from a spectacular DH.

Lately we have not been out on any dates or walking at the gym together, and I know those things really help make me feel more sane. Is there anything else I could be doing to bring my tension level down and make my shoulders relax? DH is usually our "ball of stress" and I am the easy-going one who calms him. If I'm feeling this way, I can't imagine how he is feeling. What can we do to take it down a notch or two?

Vacation to FL (staying with my mom/step-father, Disney for 2 days) can't come soon enough...although flying/staying in 2 places with 3 LOs is not the relaxing vacation you might think I just need a break.

I was just thinking the other day that I feel like I am in some kind of parent's rat race. School, two scheduled activities a week, seeing friends, birthdays...And that does not include the other kind of stuff you mention, like the house falling apart. And the car needing to go to the shop.

Or maybe it is just the age I am right now and worrying about my own little family as well as extended family. Anyway, I feel like you, the day is a race, the week is a race, the month is a race...

There are gobs of things not getting done on time here...

Yes and I feel like I can't get out of the starting blocks!! My house is a disaster and the weekends are so busy there doesn't seem to be time to catch up.

Seriously, some days I am literally panting. NOT healthy.

I'm so stressed right now....
