Default Taking breast milk to salon

I'm going to be getting my hair cut and because of the timing, will need to bring bottles of expressed breast milk to the salon. Even though I have the bottles in an insulated Medela storage cooler, I don't want to leave the bottles in the car (I'm in Hawaii and it gets HOT). For some reason, I'm hesitant to bring the bottles to the salon because of all the chemicals. I did a google search and a quick search on kellymom and LLL websites and couldn't find anything.

Is it okay for me to bring the bottles with me to the salon?

I would do it. They are closed and covered. If you are not totally comfortable with it... throw the bottles in a couple layers of ziplocks first before you put them in the cooler bag.
