Default The Target boots and (kinda) stuck zippers

So my Target boots arrived today...love them! Happy I ordered the brown!

http://www.target.com/Merona-Kamisch...n&frombrowse=0

Out of the box, the zippers were seriously stuck...I could barely get them unzipped. With a bit of force, I got them down and back up without too much difficulty but they still weren't zipping/unzipping easily or smoothly. Dh suggested a bit of soap on the teeth and that worked wonders! I took a small trial size bar of soap and ran it up and down both sides of the zipper and problem solved!

HTH someone else!

Totally off the topic of your post, but how is the color of these n brown? I have tue grey ones from last year and really like them. They are unbelievably comfy. I would like a brown pair but some of the reviews commented negatively on the actual shade of brown.

I LOVE the color! I'm not sure why someone wouldn't like them if they were anticipating brown. I just double checked the link and they look pretty much like what you see. You won't mistake them for black....and they aren't any lighter IRL.

I would actually like to have these in black assuming I still love them as much in a few months as I do now.

HTH!

Thank you and DH. Mine had the same problem when I got them yesterday. I'm going to try the soap.

I got mine too in grey. The zippers did stick a little on mine too. Although i think that the kamishel boot is super cute, i will probably end up returning them and spending $$ on a more supportive boot for my pregnant flat feet.

You can also try wax paper to help the zipper slide more smoothly.

Or try a lead pencil - the graphite like soap is a lubricant.

Soap on a screw makes it easier to screw into wood - things you learn from your Dad.

Glad they work now. I love my gray ones. I've been considering getting a black pair!
