Ugh. Seeing it in print makes me realize how expensive milk, and groceries in general, have gotten. It makes me want to grow my own food, but I know I don't want to clean up after a cow. Oh well.

My DH has done that. What irritates me isn't so much the money, it's the time since I'M the one who has to go to the store to replace it!

DH did that the other day. Our milk was left out on the counter and when I got home I was so annoyed. At least it wasn't a full gallon. It was 1/2 full. But still, it was a lot of milk. In our area, it costs $5.50 for 1 gallon of milk. So to me $4.09 is cheap. I get excited when they go on sale.

Yeah, I can get milk at Target for $2.69. However, I cannot always get to Target. I have paid as much as $5.99/gallon for milk (and it's not organic or anything special either).

That's what I pay for a gallon of cream-line milk for DS.
I'm usually the culprit at our house. I'll move something out of the freezer to get to something else - and leave stuff out of the freezer and find it days later. Ugh. |
