Default Funny Story for stroller-holics

The other day my mom and I were going to Ikea, and in the parking area (not yet parked), I got stuck between a huge SUV and a sedan behind me. The SUV just sat there waiting for someone to leave. I noticed that there was a minivan ahead with an older couple struggling with a stroller, trying to get it in their car. At first, I was a little miffed at the SUV for waiting for the parking spot and forcing these older people to rush. Then I looked ahead at the stroller and realized it was a BJCMD. It was clear that they had no clue how to fold it, and they had their mini-van packed full with packages.

The guy was yanking on it and looking all over it and almost tipping it over. I got out of my car and asked them if they needed help and they explained what I had already realized...they had no clue but needed to leave and the mom and kids were still inside.

With my now-reaching-expert level knowledge of strollers (LOL), I defty grabbed the "pull to fold" handles and wha-lah, the easiest to fold stroller ever folded and I placed it in their van. I was thanked by both them and the SUV driver.

So who knows, you might get to rescue someone someday too...all because you strollers.

Awesome! Too bad strollergirl wasn't there to help me with my Cybex Onyx the other day (who knew it wouldn't fold with the brakes on?).

Nice of you to save Grandpa and Grandma like that! I'm sure they appreciated that help! It's probably all so different than when we were kids!

Awesome! Way to rescue!!

Jacksmoma - my husband is a chemical engineer. He's quite intelligent. Yet he was putting our BJCM in the back of my minivan fully open because he had no idea how to fold it!!
