Default Another question about AL

Hi ladies,

I love drooling over all of your great strollers. All of the talk about AL has really got me thinking...but I have a daughter. Is it too boyish? I know I read one member talking about adding in a pink liner and that the plaid actually has pink in it, but what are your thoughts on AL for a girl?

Thanks!

I think Al is gender neutral. There is definitely pink in the plaid and a pink liner would look cool.

But I would feel fine putting a boy in a purple stroller, so maybe I'm not the best person to ask.

I would have no problem using Al with a girl. It does have some pink stripes in it. It is a bit more on the masculine side, but you could easily put a more girly liner on it...
(it was probably me who said that the plaid has pink and you could ad a pink liner - lol). Seriously, Al is such an awesome stroller, if my next DC was a girl, there's no way I wouldn't use it.... I think it's totally different than throwing your DS in a pink stroller (though I have a friend who does that!)

I actually just got an Al (thanks to my lurking in the stroller threads for too long). And I thought it looked too girly for my boy because of the pink stripes. It doesn't bother me, but it would bother DH. Luckily, he's color blind and will think it's white. I absolutely love the stroller. It really does live up to, and probably surpasses, all the hype.

Just curious, why would it bother your DH? I am asking because my DH wears pink dress shirts with his suits all the time!

OP, I think Al is totally unisex!

See now I dont even think it looks all that pink at all, more like muted red and the stripes are such a small part of the plaid I dont think its noticeable at all. I cant even picture a pink liner on my Al....

My DH wears pink shirts and ties all the time now, but if he wore them as a child, he probably would have gotten laughed at (like what happened when he mistook lavender jeans for blue jeans in high school).

I agree. I did not notice the pink until someone pointed it out!

Oh no. Your poor DH. I now wonder if DH would mind Al if I pointed out the pink stripes. I would assume he would not since he wears his pink shirts!

LOL - mine too! Though I don't think he'd necessarily want to push an all pink stroller. He just prides himself on being a snappy dresser.
