I am at a total loss as to what to get my BFF's 2.5 yr old daughter. She has everything in terms of toys, books, clothes, kitchen-ware, sporting goods, etc...
Her parents prefer her not to be "girly" which really puts ME at a loss, lol. I haven't seen her since she was 8 mos old so my only exposure to her is FB pics. When I ask the mom, I get no help. BFF is extremely crafty (knits & sews among other things) so it's hard for me to get things from etsy for her DD because she inevitably has already made it for her DD. Any ideas? Thanks! |

What about one of those books that uses her name and the names of her friend(s) or family members? There are some with commercial characters (Winnie the Pooh, Cars, Nemo, Disney Princesses, Elmo are some I have seen). There are others that are not associated with any particular characters.
Here are some commercial ones: http://gifts.personalcreations.com/g...onal+creations And here are some others: http://gifts.personalcreations.com/g...onal+creations (I think Pottery Barn Kids sells this same book.) I have ordered from this company in the past with no problems.

someone here once recommended a cd of kids music that you can have personalized to include the name of the child in each song. i'll see if i can find it.
other ideas: museum membership fun classes disposable like paint or other art/craft supplies (even she already has them, they'll get used up and she'll need more). you can put together a nice basket or tote or something to hold all the supplies. |
