Default Photo books or traditional albums?

what do you use to keepsake your pics every year? I have always just used regular albums but i think i would like the photo books as they take up less room and they aren't as heavy as my albums with 600+ pics in them! The only downside i see to photo books is that you are limited to 1000 pictures in them and for my babies 1st year we had way more than that....even when i delete half of them it's 600 and then i have to have 3 or 4 pics per page on every page. Any suggestions? what do you do?

I personally like photo books (especially using mypublisher.com) because you can make them look fun and scrap-booky by choosing fun backgrounds and layouts without actually having to use paper and scissors. (I'm not very good at scrapbooking at all!) You can also crop photos to get the best picture, and choose which special pictures you want larger and which you want as small accent photos. Also, I think depending on which photo book provider you use, you could fit more than 1000 per book. For instance with mypublisher you can choose a layout with 12 pics per page (maybe more) with a 100 page maximum book for 1200 pics total. If you are a photoshop user or even familiar with powerpoint, you can create your own layouts with even more pictures per page. The one downside to photo books that I see is that they could tend to be more expensive, but in the long run it is all digital so you could always reprint a book with a few clicks in case something were to happen to your photos. Besides, if you are printing 1000 pictures, that isn't chump change.
