this is on my local Craigslist is this a good deal? It is for a 2006 Maclaren Quest Mod Blue Fleur Stroller. I currently have a snap and go for my 6 month old. My mom is going to watch my DD (i'm going back to work soon) and it is a hassle for her to take the car seat out of the car. I will use the stroller as well, basically for walks and mall shopping. I live in mid-west and have a small car so will need stroller to fit in trunk of car. If you think another stroller type would be better please let me know. I don't have a lot of funds and I only want to buy one stroller for DD.
Let me know if you have any questions if you have recs for me to get a different stroller. The below stroller is being sold for $75 the seller says that it is a 2006 but she bought it new in 2008 (not sure about that). Thank you so much for all of your help. The description says: Stroller is in excellent condition, with very minimal wear. Fabric is machine washable. Weight limit is 55 lbs, rated from 4 months up, has 4 position recline, extendable leg rest for smaller babies, umbrella fold, rain cover, shopping basket.

It's a toss up - Seems high to me for a stroller that is 4-5 years old. I got a new Triumph for $85 at BRU on clearance and saw them for the same price in July.
There are some good deals on brand new Inglesina Swifts (cross between a Triumph and a Quest) www.peppyparents.com has them for $80.xx in 4 colors with free shipping http://www.peppyparents.com/servlet/...troller/Detail and Cybexes on Overstock still... http://www.overstock.com/search?keyw...rchType=Header (go through ebates for 8% back, or I think there is a 10% off coupon floating around somewhere) I'd probably recommend something like one of those over a 4 year old mac for $75 (and I'm a tried and true Mac girl)... ETA - check strollerswap - someone was selling a like new Quest for a few dollars more shipped than the one you posted. PM me if you need details... |

Yeah, I wouldn't spend $75 on a 2006 Quest, but I definitely would get a stroller for the baby other than the snap n go! I think a Cybex Topaz from Overstock would be good and is about the same price. Or I think Albeebaby.com has the Britax Blink for $69. That's a great stroller for that price, not sure what shipping is.
ETA link for the Blink: http://www.albeebaby.com/britax-blin...rn-flower.html I have one and like it a lot.

Agreed that the price is high but 06s have swiveling canopies. I'd snap it up for $50.

For $75, I'd spend the extra money for the one on swap or if I was set at a $75 budget, I'd go with the Inglesina Swift (i've always liked those - pushed one at BBB and thought it was really nice), Blink, or Cybex... |
