Default Help me pick a nice bottle of red wine!

I need to get a gift.. they love red wine. Want to get something preferably at Trader Joes or Costco since that is where I do my regular shopping and will be at one of those places within the next few days. Thinking about spending $20.

TIA

Rodney Strong Estate Pinot Noir (around $15)
Argyle Pinot Noir (around $20, but may be more depending on the year)

La Crema is a nice wine, I usually buy the Chardonnay but I've had a Pinot Noir once.

Their reserve cabernet should be in the ball park and is a solid choice.
