Default Recommend your twin-size down comforter to me!

I'm looking to buy DD a twin-size down comforter for Christmas. I'd like to spend about $100 but I want something with a high fill power, decent amount of fill and high TC to avoid leaking down, so I'm willing to go up on price as necessary. Tell me which one you bought, what you like about it, and where you got it. TIA!

We have been very happy with our IKEA down comforters for the kids. I bought the cheaper feather/down ones (Mysa Ronn). They are only a '2' warmth, but that has been adequate for 90% of the time. I will probably get a 4 or 6 rated version of the same one for DS2 next time I go because his bed is in a cold area of the house, but for all but the coldest days it has been more than warm enough. I haven't had any leaking of feathers, either. They make a slightly more expensive version that is more down, less feathers (Mysa Vete), as well.

You can't go wrong with down comforters from the Company store. They are excellent quality and I swear they shed significantly less than many others. I've tried quite a few and imho they are the best.

They have a bunch on clearance of different prices. hth.

Lands End have been great and are very warm. Check your email; I had a message with a 40% off one item >$75 this weekend.

Smart thing my mom taught me - always buy your comforter too big. That way it will hang down nicely covering the sides of your mattress. So in this case a full would work great. I ran into a bargain so I didn't do it in my guest room, and you can always see the sheets tucked in at the bottom of the darn mattress.
