Default 3yo class party snack with multiple FA's?

I am one of the room parents for Arwyn's class, and I volunteered to prepare the snack for 12 kids (and for the teachers would be nice). There are multiple allergies/intolerances. In order for every kid to partake, the snack would have to be free of nuts, wheat/gluten, dairy/casein, soy, and artificial colors. Besides fruit salad, is there any other kind of fun treat that I can find at the grocery or easily make? It's for the holiday party next week.

Rice Krispies treats? Wait, you might have to make your own marshmallows. I just looked it up, the Kraft ones have artificial color (blue) in them. They're white, right? hmmmm...

Vote for Fruit Salad with homemade whipped cream (light on the sugar) on the side.

Or Fruit Kabobs.

ETA: You can do fun shapes with the fruit for kabobs, or make something fun out of a watermelon to serve the salad out of.

I never know if egg goes with a dairy allergy or not, but how about Marshmallow Fluff instead? Ingredients:
Marshmallow Fluff contains Corn Syrup, Sugar Syrup, Dried Egg Whites and Vanillin.

Vanillin goes with the artificial food dyes. BIG trigger in some kids They make dye free marshmallows

Veggies and hummus - homemade w/o tahini since sesame seeds go with nut allergies sometimes.

Fruit Kabobs for sure. It's hard to manage otherwise as there are so many triggers in various foods.

If you can find a store that carries Enjoy Life brand semi-sweet choc chips, they are gluten, dairy, soy, nut free and do not have artificial flavors. You could melt them down and dip fruit in or drizzle over fruit. Or you could do something with just the chocolate - use candy molds, etc.

Maybe this brownie mix would work? they claim This product contains no wheat, gluten, soy, corn, potato, dairy, casein, peanuts or tree nuts. http://www.namastefoods.com/products...gory_Id=4&Id=1

I'm sure your safest bet is fruit. I know someone who is making fruit skewers for her childs holiday party and is going with all red and green fruit and is cutting pinapple into star shapes with a cookie cutter for the top. Red ~watermelon and strawberries Green~ green grapes and honeydew melon. could easily cut the melon into stars too if you wanted to take the time. Or just throw it all in a bowl and call it a fruit salad... maybe throw in some blue berries too cause a lot of kids seem to like blue berries.

I have made this, substituting chick pea flour for the ground almonds and using rice milk. I think it is yummy.

But, I confess that I would be really nervous about making something and running the risk of cross contamination.

I wonder if coconut milk ice cream would work? I don't have any here to check the label for you. I buy it at Whole Foods. I also wonder if Popsicles would work?
