Default Exergen thermometer questions

Is the Exergen sold at BRU for $50 the same model sold at Walmart for $25?

Yes and No.... Yes, they are the same model... but when you buy it at Walmart, you have money for the fever-reducer as well Sorry, had to say it!

We paid about $33 for ours at Target. It's the only commercial one they make.

Thank you! I had a feeling that might be the difference!

What do you all think of yours? We have one and I just can't get it to be very consistent. it told me yesterday I had a fever of 107!! Then 101, 101.5, 99.8, etc... Also, one side of my head is always "hotter" than the other side. I always test it out on me when i take DS's temp, just to get a baseline.

I got it about 1.5 yrs ago and really don't use it that much. thank goodness DS is pretty healthy these days.

I always do behind the ear. Seems to be most consistent when checked against a regular thermometer.

Off topic but Costco has them for $24 right now. It isn't as much of a deal once you add shipping ($6 for us) but it would be nice if they had them for that price in store.

I've never heard of that! Do you just hold it there under the lobe?
