Default If you were serving pulled pork....

For a casual get together with another couple for lunch, what would you serve with it?

Cole slaw & rolls. Or rice and a hot side dish.

I do like coleslaw with it or potato salad. Always pickles!

Sweet hawaiian rolls, cole slaw, and fruit salad.

We like no-mayo cole slaw (like this one: http://southernfood.about.com/od/col...r/bl90612a.htm, but my recipe doesn't use the mustard - and its better the second day so good to make ahead).

Corn on the cob, coleslaw, baked beans and some sort of cobbler for dessert.

Grandma’s Pea Salad

The night before, make marinate:
¼ cup oil
½ cup vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
Place
1 cup sliced water chestnuts in marinate and refrigerate
The next day mix with:
2 cans LeSuer Peas
¾ cup chopped pecans
1 small onion chopped
A few pimentos
½ cup mayo
Salt/pepper
I usually add the peas last, and very gently stir them together to prevent them from mooshing up. Add marinate to achieve desired taste. Gets better with refrigeration. Pretty on a bed of lettuce.

I'm assuming you're serving it on buns? Cole slaw is a MUST have with pulled pork! Many places actually serve their pulled pork sandwiches with cole slaw on it!

I would serve potato chips, baked beans, jello, cheesy potatoes (you know, that hashbrown potato recipe).
