Question favorite baby, and new walker shoes.....

It seems like things have changed in the last 4 years as there are more brands that I am aware of like ShooShoos, Pedoodles, Prescholians, Bobux, and Platypaws just to name a few. I know there are smaller "underground" brands too but I can't recall all of the names. So which shoes do you like, and why do you like them?

We currently have one unworn pair of 6-12 Pedipeds, and if I can find them a pair of 6-12 mos. Robeez from DD1. DD2 is currently wearing a pair of 0-6 Mini Star by Bobux (couldn't see paying the full price for Robeez for a non crawling baby), and a pair of Pedipeds 0-6 (I got on sale for $12).

I liked RileyRoos, because they were super soft and bendy, but they had little rubber bits on the bottom so they had a little more grip on them. We also did Robeez because they are easy to find on sale and were so soft.

We have a combo of Hanna mocs (which I put on DD over socks because it's FREEZING here) and inexpensive "for show" shoes - a silver pair of ballet flats from ON (which she's outgrown) and a black "patent" pair of Mary Janes by Trumpette Too for Target (which she likes to take off and chew on.)

I'm considering getting her Robeez or PediPeds but she's only started cruising & the soles of the shoes I'm finding don't seem to be all that flexible, so I'm holding off.

We love Robeez with Ds. He's still wearing the super soft/flexible baby style because his feet are tiny. I get compliments on them almost everywhere we go.

Personally, I think they are so much more comfy than a harder soled shoe for new walkers.

BTW, Ds is almost 19 months. This summer we'll probably do a more rugged sole though.

For the soft sole shoes we have only tried Robeez, Pedipeds and Shoo Shoos. I like Robeez and Shoo Shoos equally, but have usually found Shoo Shoos cheaper.

We were very happy with the Koala Baby soft-soled shoes from Toys'R'Us. They have little rubber pads on the bottom, so they're not slippy but they are still very flexible. They are cute and cheap (especially with a coupon). They held up fine for the few months we needed to get out of each pair.

I bought knockoff Robeez from eBay. I think the seller was ShoeZoo or similar. The store had tons of adorable designs. I got pink ones with 123 456 on the shoes. So cool to find numbers on girls shoes! Also a cool pair with the Eiffel Tower. I used those when the girls wear cruisers. I had real Robeez, and these were pretty identical.

After cruiser stage, I was another fan of Riley Roos. They were super cute and flexible. Keep checking mamabargains.com, they are often on there.

We've used ShoeZoo (back when DS1 was a baby) and Robeez. DD had a pair of Star Child shoes (bought via a co-op) when she was a little older and they were suuuuuuper soft leather and made in the UK I think. I paid a ridiculously low price for them and thought they were nicer leather (on the uppers) than Robeez. DS2 is wearing Robeez (mostly just to keep socks on when we are out of the house) from one of the great sales that was around before Christmas.

All of the above. Rileys are awesome. I wish they came in my size.
