Default What's should we buy so baby can sleep in our TINY room with us?

What would be the best thing to allow baby to sleep in our TINY room during the first few months? Definetly need something small and money is tight as well. But I really want baby in our room for the first little while. There's no way the crib would fit in our room. What would be the best budget-friendly option?

TIA!

We were given a Graco Travel lite PnP with the bassinet and it has a pretty small footprint and would probably be a good option in your situation. I like it more than a regular bassinet since you can use it as a PnP when the baby gets older.... but they will outgrow it faster than a regular PnP.
If you decide to go with it, you can just use a king size pillow case as a sheet rather than buy the Graco ones.

I didn't have much space in my bedroom, and I got a similar version of this: http://www.albeebaby.com/graco-trave...GoogleProducts
($65 shipped is a great price, BTW in my opinion) It's about 20% smaller than a regular pack n play, but bigger and more versatile than a bassinet.
DS slept in it until he was 6 months old, and then I moved him into his crib. I hardly used it after that. But once I took the bassinet part out, he could sleep in it if necessary. Whenever we traveled we still used it.

ETA: Too funny, me and PP had the same idea. Great minds think alike, I guess.

Yes. It worked great for us--DD has reflux and needed to to sleep on an angle. It may or may not work for you, but it is smaller than a bassinete and it folds for storage/travel.

Thanks! The smaller PNP looks like a great option for us!

I've used the Graco Travel Lite for both kids and just got a new one for the new baby . I love it! The bassinet part gives you a lot of storage space underneath. I also like that it can be moved between rooms without collapsing like a stanard sized PNP - it fits through doorways!

We got a cosleeper which we never used bc we hated the saggy mattress. Dd slept in our bed till 2 months and when she was starting to roll over we decided we needed something else - namely, a crib. Well, we have literally nowhere else in our tiny apt where the crib could go so we rearranged our bedroom furniture and squeezed in the crib next to my side of the bed (I have to climb on from dh's side!). Best thing we ever did. She is comfortable, we are all squeezed together but that's ok. She's 9 months old now and we plan to move her to her sister's room before 1.
