Question baby soft shoes: cuteness factor vs. cheap factor WWYD?

Help me out here!

I bought these adorable black kitten Bobux (love them!) for DD2 yesterday at Whole Foods, but then discovered on Bobux.com that they have discontinued shoes for $9.99. Nothing I am super in love with (I think because they are almost all white or light pink based), but maybe the white with the flowers, and then I could get something else for everyday wear and still save a bit. WWYD?

FWIW, DD2 still needs a small size (and maybe a medium by summer, but not 100% sure she'll need another pair of soft soled shoes in the next size because I still have a good pair of 6-12 mos. Robeez, and then a pair of soft See Kai Run walkers for once she is walking).

ETA: I tried Robeez 6-12 months, Pedipeds 6-12 months, and See Kai Run Smaller 6-9, and the Bobux 3-9 fit her the best. There was a lot of room in the Robeez, and the Pedipeds; more than what I would consider growing room. Also with DD1 I bought her a pair of Mini Star shoes by Bobux (so this was 4 yrs. ago) once she was crawling and pulling herself up, but they wore horribly and I ended up replacing them with another pair of Robeez (Robeez has nothing I am in love with either right now, and they are too big)

I believe bobux makes the ministar brand for target - think they are #12.99? Perhaps you can find something there you like?

When they are that small I went for cheap over cute quite a few times. But FWIW, there aren't too many pairs on the website you linked to that I wouldn't put on my DD. I think most of them are darling!

I loved Bobux when DC were little. I found the Robeez, Bobux and shooshoos all washed well while the main difference with the cheapos was they did not come out soft again and cracked. Also the elastic on the ankle was better with all above except Robeez for us. If they're really walking and wearing them out or getting them dirty (tops with crawling) then I'd go a little better quality. If they are just for show and a bit of cover anything is fine.

Thank you! I took the shoes out of the box and put them in DD2's bag today. DD2 isn't crawling yet and I honestly don't know if she is going to (I think she might walk first), but I think the slip ons are much easier to keep on vs. the Pedipeds she is outgrowing has when trying to stand up. The cleaning issue was the one that I had with Mini Star ones that DD1 had.
