We've had these for several months and they are really popular in our house. Word to the wise though, don't let your DC put them in the bathtub. The red one constantly squeaks now after DS slipped it into the tub on me.

They were a good alternative to Automoblox because DS is still too young to safely play with automoblox and their small pieces.

We have both these and Automoblox. These are a good precursor if your kids are too young for Automoblox. but I would not consider them a replacement.
