Has anyone had to ship a car cross country before? If so who did use and would you recommend them?

Ugh. Yes. Twice.
The first time we used Phoenix Auto Transport (2008). Wouldn't recommend them. The guys showed up to load the car and tried to charge us extra, then they took the roll of quarters that we had stuck in the console for parking, etc. (Not much money, but very annoying.) The second time we used ProStar Auto Transport (2010). I would definitely recommend them. They went above and beyond and were great to work with. If you want, I can get the contact info for the person I worked with there. ' Good luck. PM me if you want more details. |

yes, we used one just last summer and highly recommend the company (golden key express). They were reasonable and professional, and they had positive ratings on the movingscam.com website (which also provides useful information about different moving companies).
