Prayer? I don't know how you all can eliminate all sugar from your diets...you are strong women. I couldn't do it.
Stevia? molasses? Maybe this will help..http://www.vegetarianorganiclife.com/sugartable.htm

It will go away. The physical part does go away, and then you will probably get a nice sugar high off of a piece of fruit.
It's really not a matter of eating something else, more about doing/thinking something else because cravings are temporary. If you are at all spiritual or religious, use that, its really a way to refocus your mind and energy on something outside of yourself. Imagine yourself giving away or a higher power taking away those cravings. The physical part really will end, then it will become just a matter of dealing with social situations and other people's expectations. Giving up sugar made a huge difference for me. It's a trigger that makes me want to eat more. I lost about 30 lbs without a whole lot of effort after I made that change. So worth it. <<-- Hasn't had sugar since October

reducing your starch intake also helps with the sugar cravings. Starch also causes a similar insulin response as sugar.
Also, if you eat good fats like avocado, almond, walnut or some high protein (slice of deli meat, small piece of grilled chicken) it will curb your cravings. IT DOES GET BETTER!!!! |

Try eating more fat- avocado, coconut, etc. I sometimes drink a cup of tea and that helps too.
