MA moms, hope everyone is safe!
We are sitting in the basement waiting out the tornado warning. I hope everyone is safe out there, pretty freaky stuff for MA!

I just saw the tornado story on the nation news! Horrible! Glad you guys are in your basements...they did mention that there are warnings still out!

Well, look at that, I am in the area. I'm at the top of the hill also, so if it hops from hill to hill like back home it will hit me. I checked NOAA.GOV. Funny, usually my lab is freaking out all day if there is a thunderstorm, but he's just snoring away right now. Some thunder, some light rain, but sounded far away. I'll follow the dog.

We came down at about 5:45. Still here. Out basement is unfinished too, we have old furniture we are sitting on, a card table set up, a cooler with some snack foods and some thermoses of water. And loveies, very important. I told DDs it's like camping, lol.
I think we are in the clear by 7:45.

I have to admit that I kind of freaked out when I heard that emergency advisory over the radio (you know the one where they interrupt your tv show to play that long beeping/moss code noise). A bit scary. Mostly we are having rain and some thunder.

This was one of the dorms  The big room in the middle was the lounge, you can see part of the pool table through the wall  Center of campus
