Do you still have to provide your credit card information, even though it clearly says that I pay $0, with the $5 credit applied?

After the whole Living Social fiasco, I am extremely hesitant to give out my CC info to daily deal sites like these.

I clicked something like Amazon payment and it went through without giving any cc info.
