Default Egg allergy and baked goods, etc.

Can your egg allergic DC eat baked goods and stuff containing eggs? It seems like most egg allergic kids only can't eat the actual egg but can tolerate hidden eggs. DS2 just had the blood test to determine whether he can eat hidden eggs and the level is still coming up high. Not as high as 2 years ago (50 then, and 26 now) but still high enough that his allergist is not recommending a baked egg challenge right now. His egg white rast is around 35 and has been for several years now. Even before the test 2 years ago, the allergist said that most kids can tolerate hidden eggs so it's just a little disappointing that we still have to avoid it.

DD isn't allergic, but the older of my two godsons was always able to eat eggs baked into things. His younger brother, who is almost 3.5, still cannot have any eggs whatsoever, including baked or cooked into things.

DD's allergic to Egg whites and we didn't offer her even baked goods till recently. But now she can have baked goods containing eggs and we're grateful for that. She's still allergic to egg whites in egg form.
