Default Lawyers: What did you do with your textbooks?

I've been sitting on these for years and have never needed them. I feel terrified to give them away for some reason though. I just listed them on Freecycle, but am starting to have remorse. What did you do with your law school textbooks/bar study materials? These are nearly 10 years old.

Gave some away right after graduation to a friend in law school, sold my BarBri materials, then finally recycled the rest of them recently. I kept a few things that were relevant to my practice area, but honestly never really look at them.

Thanks nrp. That makes me feel a bit better. Freecycle it is then. I've already got a taker!

I'm taking the bar next summer (we thought DH was getting pink slipped this year, we would have left the state). Is it worth holding on to the books for bar study (BarBri is pre-paid already) or should I ditch them now?

Got rid of all but a couple promptly and gave away the rest a couple of years post graduation. I am firmly of the belief that out of date law books are dangerous. Now if I could just convince dh of this . . . .

I did not touch a single text book when studying for the bar. (And I passed on the first go around.)

Perfect. That's what I needed to know. We have 5 people in 1400 sq. feet, no room for shelves of unnecessary books. Thanks!

Ritual burn. Very cathartic.

ETA: Burned them once I passed the bar exams....
