Default Zuilly - I'Coo

Caviar Pacific Stroller & Pram -- this is the deal on zuilly today. Anyone know about this stroller? I have been looking at the uppa baby and bug frog but saw this today and am wondering if this is a quality stroller? Anyone out there own it?

Liz

I don't know anything about the Pacific - I know they have them on the deal a day sites (zulily, shnoop, etc) frequently.
The pluto is well liked though.

Seems like a better stroller for $279 than an indigo (though it's $130 more), but if you can spend an extra $130, you can have a vista. I know $500 is a lot of money, but I would imagine the vista has better resale...

I saw one at my midwives office the other day. New baby was in his carseat which was attached to the frame. I think for the price it would be worth trying as they have gotten decent reviews.

I used to own I'coo Pacific, I'd say for the price it is a good deal. They used to go for over $400 when they first came out. It is a nice stroller and will do the job just fine, but it definitely doesn't hold a candle to the Bugaboos in terms of push or suspension/smooth ride. If you can get your hands on a nice condition used Frog or even a new frog on some crazy sale, I'd say go for it.

With the I'coo you also won't be disappointed unless you need to navigate rough surfaces. I'coo doesn't have front wheel suspension or air tires and won't handle the bumps well. when our street was getting re-paved it was a complete PITA to drag it across the scraped road - very bumpy. also bumpy/hard to push on grass/gravel. But then Vista, your other alternative, doesn't have front wheel suspension either and also has plastic EVA wheels just like the I'coo. Vista is a bit heavier and has larger footprint, but it does have a nice bassinet, more upright seat position, better structured seat and a very large basket. I haven't pushed Vista outside, maybe it is better than the I'coo.. I don't know. Depends on what is of most value to you.

Pacific is easy to fold down if you want to put into the car trunk, but not the most lightweight stroller, but I'd say it's a bit easier to deal with it than with the Bugaboo Cam/Frog - simpler design. If you will be strolling on smooth sidewalks primarily and not taking it all the time to areas covered in rough gravel/cobblestone/dirt/grass I'coo Pacific would be great, especially for the price.

If you want to get more detailed reviews, go to advanced search on this forum and search for "I'coo" in the title. there were a few threads last year with a few users including myself posting very detailed reviews. Hopefully, you will find all your are looking for there. GL!
