Default Need Mojo; possible job interview...

Got a call an hour ago from a firm that does what I did pre-DD. A professional contact (the one I had lunch with back in July) sent out my resume to some people and one called and invited me to interview with them. I didn't pick up b/c I did not recognize the number. Now I cannot bring myself to even call them back. I am *so* nervous. I want this. I know I do. But I am paralyzed with nervous anxiety. I'm shaking. Please, someone write me a script! What do I say?

FWIW, this is my first interview since SAHMing 4+ years ago.

Mojo going your way. You can call them later today and tell them that you were out in the morning. Or call them tomorrow. Either way, I'm sure you'll do fine. Good Luck!!

Mojo headed your way. I have been out of work for a little over a year and know that my last interview is checking my references. It is working on my nerves! Good luck!

You can do this. I know it's scary, I felt the same, but that old you that did that work is still inside of you.

Take a few deep breaths, put a long tv show on for DD and give her snacks etc or wait for DH to be home, then call back and say you missed their phone call. Make a time for an interview - call that MIL of yours and channel your SIL and tell her you need her on x day to look after DD, so you can go to an interview and it's VERY important for you and DH that you need the help.

Before the interview, call that professional contact of your and try to get the inside scoop on the company/position.

At the interview, find out about the job, but remember, you don't have to take it if it's not the right thing for you. But there is no harm in listening and getting all the information.

And then come and update us.

Good luck and plenty of mojo to you!!! Maybe call a friend or DH first and tell them so you can get the initial nervous excitement out of your voice.

(and I'm hoping I get a similar call very soon, after 7 and a half years as a SAHM...!!) Spreading the BBB mojo!
