Hi all I have posted a bit about my wanting to get a jogging stroller and it was recommended that I wait out for a Bob on my (very crappy) CL.
Well one was posted last night for $200 and the owner says he is firm on the price. The ad says: BOB Sport Utility Stroller - Red - Like NewI emailed the owner and he said that he thinks it is a 2007 but would have to wait to this evening to check. He said it bought it new and after a year of use his son won't get it in because he is "too old" the owner said he has been holding on to it to see if it was a phase but his sone wouldn't have any part of it so he is selling. Pictures are below. Is this a good deal? What would this stroller be worth in your opinion? Would I be over or under paying? ![]()

$250 for a new BOB SUS in blue. This model has a fixed wheel just in case you didn't notice. That's a dealbreaker for some.

That would be high on my CL for a fixed-wheel BOB. Usually a single older BOB Revolution (with the rotating front wheel) goes for about $200-$225, but the fixed-wheels are priced lower. May be different on your CL though, the BOBs here seem to go for a little less than in some other areas (I am in NYC area).

Yeah, I would skip that one since the sport utility version is a fixed front wheel. You want to look for a BOB Revolution SE (16in rear wheels) or CE (12in rear wheels).

Agree, I'd pass. For me a fixed wheel is a deal breaker unless you are planning to use it only for hard core jogging/running. I have a cheaper hand me down jogger like that and hate it for that reason.

How much should I spend on a used Revolution?

Depends on your CL but generally $225-300 is average (can depend on accessories as well). Sometimes you'll find a steal at $150-200, but I'd anticipate at least $225 for one in good condition.

I would offer $250 (or $275 MAX). It looks to be in great shape, but new BOBs are on sale at a bunch of places for 15% off (see other thread on this board) which makes them about $380. So, I would not pay $300 for used when for $80 more you could get a brand new one. You might want to let the seller know that new BOBs are on sale as a bargaining tool.
Others might have different advice though, like I said on my CL most single BOBs are listed for less than $300 and usually that's with an accessory included. (I do notice the stroller in the picture seems to have the BOB console, which is an extra that costs around $25)
