Default Everyone OK in SoCal/the Southwest?
Just heard something blew in AZ and there is no power in all of San Diego county and some of Mexico. Hope everyone out there is all right and has plenty of candles/flashlights!!!

It's only in the northern half of AZ now. Apparently Flagstaff got some good storms and hail. We haven't seen anything in Phx yet, but they said to expect storms beginning tomorrow......and temps below 100 - WOOOOHOOOOO!!!

It was definitely all of San Diego County- power went out just before 4 and some areas started getting it back around 9 PM. Our power wasn't restored till around 2 AM, but all public schools cancelled classes for the day so DD and I got an unexpected 3 day weekend!

I think our power came back on around 4am. No school. DD thought it was all great fun!

When the power went out, my first thought was "woohoo I can go home early"...then someone pointed out that the elevators are not working. =( Had to walk down 20+ flights and then up 6 for the parking garage. I'm pregnant too.

Our power came on at midnight. We had fun last night - I liked not being distracted by the internet or TV.

Left work right when power went out good thing because traffic was pretty bad after. Took the kids swimming, bbq'ed, and the power came back around 8pm. Exciting and ended quickly, plus no school today!

All good here now, power came back on around 3am. DD thought it was pretty interesting and all of us now have a 3-day weekend. Just glad I didn't go into labor!
