I wonder if this is regional? DD is Grace and is the only one we have come across in school so far.

DH told me last night that he wants Emma. For those who followed my last thread, we had considered a double name ("Emma Kate"), but ultimately decided against it in favor of Catherine/Cate. I was not as wild about "Catherine Emma P_________", I just didn't think it flowed that well, but I may come around to it.

I posed Rose, Faith, Hope and Anne to DH last night and he vetoed all but Anne. I'll have to bring up the idea of using Grace again, but I sort of doubt he'll buy in.

Why is this so hard?! Well, I know why it is. DH is very good at vetoing names, but pretty dismal at making any suggestions!

Hmm, I think Catherine Emily flows better than Catherine Emma. I lime Catherine Anne. And Catherine Grace is just lovely and I agree it would be a neat tradition. Good luck persuading dh!

Catherine

seems like a one syllable middle name is nice with a multi-syllable first name. how about Lee?

DD#2 is Kate (not short for Katherine...just Kate) and her middle name is Grace. So I love Kate/Cate Grace. i also like Emma as DD#1 is Emma Joy (Joy is my middle name). Since we had a Joy & a Grace for middle names we kind of continued the theme and used Faith as a middle name for DD#3. I also love Hope. Good luck!
