Default Cheap white crib suggestions

I was going to get a Gulliver crib from Ikea for DD2, but according to the salespeople, it probably won't be available until December. I can't wait that long because we will need to start using it in late October.

So I have to face facts and look for an alternative. I want a white crib with clean straight lines. It does not need to be convertible. I don't like it when the back is taller than the front, and I would like slats all around. The Gulliver fit the bill in terms of these features and the price point.

DD1 has this crib, which we really like, but I would rather not spend that much money on another crib. http://www.albeebaby.com/bonavita-3-...ide-white.html So I'm looking for something similar at a cheaper price. Any ideas???

Thanks.

Default In Stock again

Try again at your local Ikea. I've been looking daily for the cribs because I need 3 and yesterday they had Gulliver in white in Michigan store.

I got my white crib from JCPenney, think it was around $200 and has held up very well! All of my daughter's nursery furniture was from JCPenney.

You could try Graco Sarah. It is a traditional crib, comes in white and runs less than $150.

We have this and love it - it's cute and sturdy. Almost 2 years later, it still looks brand new.

We have this one:

It has held up really well for daily use, and we've also used it as a travel crib (take apart, toss in back of truck and set up when traveling by car).

We like our Graco Lauren and it comes in white. Target is having a baby sale right now.

Another vote for WalMart (and this is after spending $$$ on a Munire Urban for DD1). We got this one for DD2 in the espresso, but here's the link for white:

It doesn't have slats all around, but for an extra $100 you could get one with slats and a drawer underneath (the drawer is not white though):

Good luck!
