I detested both the boppy (Ds1) and MBF (Ds2) so I appreciate the reccomendations from everyone. I usually just juggled a few regular bed pillows and cursed out loud a lot!

Can anyone tell me how the Luna Lullaby does with nursing in a football hold?

It worked very well if I can think back that far!

i didn't dislike the Boppy but I think I would hate the MBF. I was planning on registering for the Gia Simplesse - anyone compare this and the luna lullaby?

I had a boppy for DS and it worked fine. Then I lent it to a friend and she put it in the washing machine (why she didn't just wash the cover, I don't know) and it exploded. So now I need to figure out what to get for DS2. I'm thinking I'll get a MBF. Hoping I can just get a friend to lend me theirs though as I really don't want to buy to much new stuff if I can avoid it.

I really loved the MBF (but haven't tried any other nursing pillows).

I preferred the boppy to the MBF. The MBF was too firm for me. I guess that's the point but for in bed I like something I can form around me a little more. The Boppy has it's downfalls (it can tend to move away from your body and then baby falls into the crack sometimes) but overall I much prefer it. I have 2 with the luxe velvety covers and it's great. I keep one in the nursery upstairs and one downstairs so I don't have to go looking for it. I have used them with all 3 kids to nurse and I still use it at almost 1 year old with DD2 as I need the support with my giant bb's that need to be held while nursing so I can still have a free hand to read, iphone surf, whatever.

Had the Boppy, MBF and the Blessed Nest. The Boppy and MBF were both so-so and the Blessed Nest was awesome. With the first two I felt hunched over after nursing, not so with the Blessed Nest.
