Default siblings and birthday parties

Is it okay to specify on birthday invitations that siblings are not included?...

We are in K at a new school. We have only been invited to a couple of parties that were casual and siblings were invited. We are doing it at a gymnastics place that has age and space restrictions. We are inviting all the girls in two classes, so no extra room. I don't know these families at all (still figuring out how to even send the invitations).

Is it okay to write something like "Due to age and space limitations at ____, we are unable to accommodate siblings"

Or is that horrible?

Yes, totally ok and your wording is fine.

Just IMO, but I don't think it's necessary. Parties at gymnastics places are always this way. There's either a limit or a per-person fee; never a "more the merrier" mentality.

Not offensive if said the way you suggest, but it's a given.

But some people are dense.

or rude. (I had people show up despite that wording to a gymnastics' party and be disappointed that their dd couldn't participate. It was really awkward!)

I think it's fine. I think it's a shame that you have to specify because, I agree, people should REALIZE that the kid invited is the one whose name is on the invite. But if you get the vibe people will bring siblings then I think specifying is fine!
