Default If anyone sees a balance bike deal.....

If anyone sees a deal on a good balance bike, could you post it? Of course DH decided the night after the Strider deal that DS could probably use one. We'd prefer not to get a wooden one, unless it's a really good deal and a good bike.

Costco has a Chicco balance bike for 28ish in my area. It looks rather small though in comparison to many balance bikes. Reviews on amazon were so-so.

Just thought I'd mention it as an inexpensive option. It would be better suited to a smaller/younger child and apparently doesn't have the ability to move much bigger in terms of range.

yeah i got the $28 one Chicco one at Costco. haven't opened it yet though.

the amazon reviews on that one look good except for a few who said the bike was too small for their 3yo. the bike does say for ages 3 and up, so i can see people's frustration with this. but other than that, it seemed like the reviews were good (it's $48 retail on amazon, so $28 is pretty good). We are giving to DS for his 2nd birthday so I think it will probably work for us. I didn't want to spend $$$ on a nice balance bike and then DS never use it. If he really likes it and uses it maybe we'll get a nicer one when he's a little older.

Oh I wish we had a Costco. I don't know how much DS will use it, so I'd be ok with $30!
