Default Please help! Maclaren Quest with ride-on board?

I tried doing searches on here and saw the HH and the Lascal mentioned. Some said the HH wasn't compatible, others said it was. I am going on a week long trip with lots of walking next week with a 2.5 and 5.5 yo.

Is there something I can get this week that would work with my Quest? My 5yo will not last and my 2.5 yo is 30+ lbs so hard on my back in a carrier (which I'll bring just in case) I used to have a sit and stand but it was a little hard to maneuver in crowds and I'm sure there will be lots of people walking around.

Is it hard to walk with a board attached?

TIA!

ETA: I didn't realize these boards were so pricey! Is it better to look at cheaper strollers with a built-in step?

We've used the Lascal buggy board maxi with a Triumph and now a Techno, so it will work great with a Quest. I think it was about $100.00, kind of pricy but I don't know what cheaper options are out there with a built in step (except maybe a used Peg and IMO I'd rather push a Mac with a board than a Peg). You will need to adjust your stride when using the board. The first few steps I took were painful on my shins, but once I got used to it, I appreciate that DD is not whining that she is too tired to walk.

I have a Hitch Hiker on my Ryder. Works well, but yes, you do have to adjust your stride.

Thank you so much for responding! I was leaning towards the Lascal but just realized it has a weight limit of 44lbs I will look into the HH.

Thanks again!
