Default Looking for deal on Medela Pump

I know this is a long shot, but any thoughts on where I can get the best deal on the Medela PIS? The best I've seen so far is 15% off at Babiesrus.

When I bought mine 3 years ago, I tried checking online. All the online retailers said to email them directly for pricing, which sounded funny to me. I did anyway (since they ALL said that). I found my best pricing online from here.

Overall, I think I saved $90 versus the babies r us price (after tax). I recommend checking out the online retailers for sure!

I got mine at bru using their 20% off coupon they have all the time. I think there's one out now that they emailed to rewards members.

The coupons I got recently didn't include one for 20% off

I did find one over the weekend to use on "baby gear" so we used it for a pack n play.

Have you tried contacting your health insurance company? Mine covered the complete cost of mine. All I had to do is get a prescription from my doctor. The "medical" reason was that I had to go back to work.

I agree with last posters comment. We knew our child would be born with cleft lip and palate and could not breastfeed. MY OB wrote a prescription for a pump- I think 80-90% was covered, making it very cheap! I went thru the local lactation clinic because they could bill the insurance more easily.

I would see what your insurance will cover. Our pump fell under DME (Durable Medical Equipment) so you might check that out. You may end up paying a small fraction of an amount.

I did contact my health insurance previously and was told they'd reimburse me $50 which is nice.

I got mine on eBay. I used Gixen to submit bids on multiple items at the max price I was willing to pay. I got a brand new sealed in the box PIS Metro for $120 less than I had seen anywhere else. If you have the time to wait for the right deal, it can really pay off.
