Default I just need to say

that I CANNOT believe how much I can eat

I am really hoping I don't gain everything in these last eight weeks. My appetite had been normal until a month ago. Now I have times where I can eat everything in sight. This.has.to.stop.

Ha ha -- I hear you! I keep wondering how, with this baby taking up all the space, that I have room to pack away as much as I can these days!

Hee-Hee. Oh yeah. This is prime growth time for the baby, and you can expect to gain 1 lb. per week. But that's a good thing! Nice healthy baby

I gained 10 lbs last month. But, in my defense, Christmas was last month. Still!!! I was shocked.

I hate to say it, but if you're going to breastfeed, be prepared to have insane hunger for a while longer. It didn't last forever, but in the early weeks of bf-ing, there were times when I was insatiable. It put my pregnancy hunger to shame.

Hahahahaha so glad to know I am not alone And glad to understand it's the growth spurt!

It's just funny because I lost 11 lbs in the first trimester and have put on almost 16 lbs now and 5 in the last month alone.

Oh well, all for good! And I get to hit a yummy new place for lunch tomorrow with a girlfriend and her new son

I vividly remember marching downstairs for a bowl of cereal at 3am after a feeding because my stomach was growling so much I couldn't sleep.

I'm the same way, eating like a hobbit (breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, etc). I've only gained about 5.5 so far but I know it's gotta catch up with me in the next 13 weeks!
