Where does everyone buy their dates? I bought some at TJ's today and they seemed a bit pricey at $4.50/lb.

I can't seem to find Medjool dates for less than $5 a lb, so I usually get them at TJ's too. I think you really need the moist, good-quality dates to make larabars..the brick-hard ones from the grocery store won't cut it.
Just remember how much money you're saving by making your own Larabars :-) |

Yeah, actually that's a great price for good quality dates. I would expect to pay around $6.50 a pound for them. That's part of why Larabars are so expensive, all that fruit!

I did find some at Costco in the produce area. They were $9 for 2lbs. They are very nice medjool dates though and the littles love them plain.
