I usually never get sick and as mild as this winter has been we have all been fairly healthy. 2 weeks ago (super bowl sunday) I starting having stomach pain/cramps and DD1 was also sick and threw up once but otherwise fine. I felt ok 2 days later and like normal the rest of the week. AF came the same week, a day late, but heavy like usual and lasted til sunday. So I associated the cramps with that, even though i usually don't get cramps with my cycle. But then last Monday the stomach pain returned and was around Tuesday and Wednesday. Ended up having diarrhea Wednesday, felt ok Thursday and cramps/pain returned again Friday night. All day yesterday and more severe today. Hard to walk but still hurts when sitting. I wanted to go to church but couldn't move without more pain. I have back pain too but I have a bad back and whenever I don't feel good my back always hurts. DD1 didn't have an appetite too last week so I have been just assuming I have what she had. But she would say her tummy hurt (autistic and nonverbal so we don't get much info from her) but would run around full of energy. DH really wants me to go to the doctor but I am thinking it's just cramps and will go away. Is it worth calling the doc tomorrow?
Eta:stomach pain is in the middle of my stomach mostly, cramp like with some sharp shooting pains when I move. Sometimes feels like it's lower in my abdomen but not one on side or the other. I haven't taken anything for the pain.

I also had the same symptoms. I was convinced I had an ulcer. It turned out to be my gallbladder. Had it removed a few months ago. I would definitely go get it checked out. Hope you feel better soon.

From someone who ignored gut symptoms for a while, convinced they'd get better...then saw a doctor when they got worse.... only to have the doctor brush me off when i was finally worrying... my advice is "TRUST YOUR GUT!!!" literally.... if you are concerned, it's better to find out it's nothing, then the reverse!!

I think you need to get your thyroid checked. (Just joking, couldn't resist).
I agree with others who have posted. Go to the doctor. If you weren't worried about it, you wouldn't have posted. If it hurts too much to go to church, then it definately hurts enough to go to the doctor IMO

I too think you should go in. I had appendicitis last summer, with what was probably two bouts of it in the spring before the full-blown case made its presence known. My symptoms were a bit different, but my dismissal of them was the same as yours. My point is that I never imagined something could be really wrong with me - just a stomach bug, just some food poisoning, I thought - but I learned that there are some things that can strike anyone, with little or no warning. So get checked out.
