Default What helped you during your first trimester nausea?

Just nausea.. no morning sickness. What helped this seasick feeling?

TIA!

Ugh, not much. But I did buy the seasick wristbands, and that helped a little. Also, keeping food in my stomach was key. I ate lots of saltines, and lots of single serving Annie's mac and cheese. These things helped, but I still felt sick most of the time. Good luck!

Not much, but eating small frequent meals did help in reducing the frequency of nausea episodes. I also tried drinking ginger tea and it helped a bit.

Eating was the only thing that made me feel better.

Lemonn drops helped with DS1. Zofran was needed for DS2 and DD. Nausea lasted until the 3rd trimester!

Sea bands, eating regularly (as in every one to two hours), sour things (I went through a ton of Jolly Ranchers with this pregnancy), and ginger ale. Not necessarily all at the same time. What helped seemed to change on a daily basis. And it was always much worse if I didn't get a good night's sleep.

Not much, really. Eating small portions, drinking bubbly water, avoiding spicy food, fatty food, dairy, acidic food . . . really, I ate a lot of Saltines and rice. With this pregnancy I had horrible first trimester heartburn, which I'd never had before, and TUMS helped some with that. I think the first trimester is my least favorite part of pregnancy.

Eating small amounts frequently. And sucking on hard, sour candies (I sucked on lots of jolly rancher sours and lemon drops - those really helped).

I also had just nausea, no vomiting.

my wife would drink hot lemon water made with real lemons. Was also real good for the gas bloating.

Pizza (any type of bread-cheese-sauce combo, no idea why) and sour LifeSavers gummies.
