I had one I got for free (less shipping) from a promo for Uddercovers with DD. It was okay. I am long torso'd/low boob'd and never really loved it. I had a dark color but otherwise thought the material was pretty thin. As a result I barely used it in public, except in the car.
I've seen hooter hiders and they seem to be very similar. I've also seen the thread about the dria cover but too $$ for me now. I like the idea behind the udder cover or hooter hider where you can peek down in there and it seems less hot to have an opening up top. I don't think I"ll be doing a lot of nursing in public since I'm going back to work and will be getting on a pumping routine, but since I have a toddler, I wonder if I might be doing more than I think . . . If you liked your nursing cover, please let me know! TIA |

I hate mine but my sister has a Bebe Au Lait cover that seems awesome. I'm thinking if treating myself to one.

I love my Bebe Au Lait cover. I used it all the time with DD, who was my 2nd child. I found myself NIP a lot more with her than with DS since I had 2 DCs' schedules to work around and found myself out and about when she needed to eat.

I
my Bebe au Lait. They're made/sold by the same company as the hooter hiders, but the wire on the top opening is a bit different. The fabric is not thin, you really can't see anything through it, great quality. I was also tempted by the Dria cover thread from the other day, but it's too expensive for what seems to be a simple poncho. And it doesn't have the opening to see your baby, which I remember really needing the first couple months when I was getting the hang of things. My mom saw the Dria cover pictures and says she can sew one like that for me in a pinch.

I loved mine too, and wish I had them with DD as well. The patterns are great, they have good coverage and I love the opening at the top and that the reverse side of the corner has a built in washcloth.

Yes the bebe au lait rocks. I lost mine somewhere and happily forked over the money to get another one. If I don't use the cover my 2nd choice is an Aden anais muslin blanket.

Thank you! Sounds like it might be worth looking into.
Going to try and hunt down a deal or code for bebe au lait. Will post if I find anything. |

You might also look into TaTa Tents. They have the neck opening and corner washcloth, too. I have one and IIRC, the prices are pretty reasonable.

I use an Aden and Anais muslin blanket. And recently, nothing at all. I have a French Canadian friend and she has never used any cover and I was just in awe of that. Now, I feel like I know how to nurse discreetly without using a cover.
