Default How do you shred expired credit cards?

How do you shred expired credit cards? we have more than 20 to be discarded. cutting them with scissors seems too much work for fingers to do. what do you guys do to discard them/shred them? ty

I put them in our crosscut paper shredder....but it specifically says it's powerful enough for that. Before we got the shredder, I just used good ole scissors.

For that many, I'd use a shredder.

Typically tho, I use scissors (kitchen shears typically) and flush the pieces down the toilet. And I cut horizontally across the mag strip and any raised letters/numbers. Then I go back and cut vertically so the pieces are tiny enough to be flushed.
