Good point! I also had another thought for favors. Since she is fast flying things to do with the wind make good favors. Pinwheels, kites, etc may be fun.

Oh, you just made me think! A "race" with little kites! Our sunday school just made small easy kites that really do fly. I was going to order a set just for a rainy day, but think I will incorporate that into the party. Thanks!

Thanks Tracey! We've gotten our helium balloons there for the last 2 parties. I should look to see if they have Vidia stuff.

Since Tink and Vidia are the ones to find the fairy house in Great Fairy Rescue maybe you can have a craft where they either decorate little fairy houses (like those cute inexpensive wooden houses that can be found at Michael's or other craft stores) or all decorate a big cardboard house together into a fairy house.

I was going to say wind stuff too, since she is a wind fairy.

You can have the kiddos make sand art bottles for pixie dust -- a great idea and is a good favor to take home. I think the Olympics idea is great.
My DD loves Vidia because of the Great Fairy Rescue (which was the first one she saw). I also like the idea of races, etc. Or, you could have each girl be a different fairy (give out plain color t-shirts maybe-- Yellow for Iridessa, Blue for SilverMist, Green for Tink, etc) and have an activity that highlights each fairy's talent? I'd put your DD in a full-on Vidia costume. I've seen Tink, SilverMist, and Rosetta at Target for about $20. Maybe they have Vidia too?

FWIW, we met Vidia at Disney, and my DD was over.the.moon. Vidia was such a sassypants it was hard to get her to smile. Until, that is, DD1 explained that while she herself is really Tinkerbell, DD2 is Vidia (no lie, she calls DD2 Vidia). The "real" Vidia thought that was something else....

Love it!! Dora has asked if Tinkerbell is at Disney, and I said I don't think so. Well, I'll have to tell her I was wrong!

In our house Dora is Tink, Arwyn is Vidia, and Laurel is Silvermist.

My DD loves Vidia too. We were suck behind an adult couple forever waiting to meet Tinkerbell at Disneyland. Just as they walked away and it was our turn to meet her and get pictures, Vidia came out from a door and joined her. My daughter was thrilled.
