Default Recommend interesting audio books for commute.

I want to pick up some new audio books from the library for DH's commute. Any recommendations? Fiction/Non-fiction are both fine.

Do you think he'd like David Sedaris? I think his books are hilarious, but I can see how he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

Is this a driving commute? I don't like to listen to anything I really need to concentrate on while I'm driving. I'm afraid I'd get too wrapped up. If that's not an issue, I think history books would be great.

I just listened to John Grisham's Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer books while driving to and from work. Interesting, but not distracting to listen to.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll bring you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

A friend recommended the audiobook for Game Change--it's about the 2008 presidential election and was just made into a movie on HBO.

Funny you should ask. I am currently downloading books from our library to Dh's MP3 player!

Currently Dh is listening to:
Room Full of Mirrors--a Jimi Hendrix biography
Bonhoeffer:Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxas

Upcoming:
Mark Twain autobio
NPR Chronicles WWII
The Lincoln Lawyer: book 1 in the Mickey Haller series
Superfreakonomics
The Social Animal by David Brooks
Kidnapped by Rober Louis Stevenson
Count of Monte Cristo
Abe Lincoln by Ronald C White Jr.
American Creation by Joseph Ellis

We're waiting on some Sherlock Holmes books and always love listening to the Harry Potter books read by Jim Dale.
