I woke up feeling dreadful today. I had a headache and bodyaches. The kids were in the other room playing and I kept an ear out all day. Around 3:00, DH decides I need fresh air (apparently the air in Toys R Us is fresher? News to me). I hate bringing 4 kids to the toy store. Halfway through the store, I told DH that I was going to pass out. My vision was getting funny, and I was dizzy and far too warm. I sat down on the floor. He was more concerned that I was sitting on a dirty floor. He then made me follow him through the store to find a chair, because of aforementioned floor. Meanwhile I sat down on the floor again, because if I fainted and fell, that would be an automatic ER/Labor & Delivery trip for me and I was so not interested. Then I needed a drink. He brought me toddler sized apple juice. I needed 5 of them. Then he wanted to know if I could get up already so we could leave. On the way home, he wanted to go visit my parents. He dropped me off with the kids, and picked up supper- after which he told me he was leaving BEFORE bedtime. Someone better calm me down before he gets home, or we may have some raised voices and violence in my apartment. WHERE IS HIS BRAIN?

Sorry you had such a rotten day and that your DH is being so insensitive. Try to get some rest tonight. Hope you have a much better day tomorrow.

Bad day, ugh, I'm sorry.
Be calm. Calmly tell him that he needs to let you take care of yourself, because his efforts to take care of you are emptying your considerable wells of patience!

Like I have been saying since grade school. Boys are dumb. So sorry. Hang in there. I find with my DH, sometimes he needs specific instructions. Example: "You will not be leaving me before bedtime."

That's awful to leave you with 4 kids after your day! Unless it's super important, just tell him no way!
