Default G-Luxe or Maclaren Triumph?? I keep changing my mind!

This is my first post! So we have a Vista only for our DS (6 months old) and I really have been wanting something lightweight for the car, travel and possibly for grandma to use. I cannot decide what to get! Looks like I could get the 2012 Triumph on albee baby for around 160 with their current coupon, or the 2011 g-luxe for 190. Is the g-luxe worth it? Or is there another amazing stroller that I should be considering in this price range?

We live in San Francisco on the 3rd floor with no elevator and no parking spot. So it really is a pain sometimes to take the Vista out to the car. Help!

Hello and welcome! May I suggest the Britax Blink?

We have a G-Luxe as our car & travel stroller. We love it!! Great push, nice recline, washable. Grandma and Grandpa have a Triumph we use when we visit and it's ok but I love the G-Luxe much more.

I would get the Maclaren. I like the way it reclines with the handle you lift up as opposed to the pull string recline of the G luxe. I also like the push much better with the maclaren especially as baby get heavier.

I had a Quest for years that finally kicked the bucket, and I replaced it with the G luxe. The triumph and quest are not exactly the same, but i love the G luxe!!!! Definitely worth a few extra dollars, and uppababy has awesome customer service! I had a problem with my original, and they sent me a brand new stroller.

I LOVE my g-luxe too. I can even push my 8 year old in it (he's right about 55 pounds and decided he wanted a ride LOL!)

Another vote for the g-luxe esp since you're carting it and down 2 flights of stairs!

I've had both and prefer the G-luxe. Its more padded & comfy, bigger canopy, has the legrest and I like the fold mechanism better than the Triumph's.

I like the fabric on the Triumph better than the Gluxe. I have never pushed a Gluxe outside of a baby store though. I am a die hard Maclaren fan though and have never owned another brand of >than $20 umbrella stroller (we also have a BRUS brand basic umbrella stroller) so I am a tad biased. I would go to a baby store and try them both in person.
