Either way....whatever works Lots of old threads with people's photos you can look through, both collage style or in a 5 opening frame.

I did a photo collage 2 years ago.

I was able to find a 5 slot frame (Michael's I believe) a few years ago. I take a huge # of pics of each girl individually holding the letters and some together and then pic the best of the lot trying to give balance to each kid. The first year I did them in my back yard. Last year I took the kids to a playground and had them pose with the letters on the playground equipment (climbing stairs, going down a slide, sitting on a swing, etc). They turned out nice and it let the kids be active. There was no way I was getting them to sit still last year.

Just this past year DH changed offices and he lost wall space. So, I bought him a clear mat for his desk and he put the 5 pics under that.

Last year I did this. A cube puzzle of pictures of the kids and one drawing that DS1 did.
scroll to #10. I had 6x6 pictures printed at Wolf camera and then I cut them into 2 in squares and found the 2 in wooden cubes at Michaels. I didn't do it, but I would probably paint the blocks first next time. I then used mod podge to stick the pictures onto the cubes.

I can add pictures later.

Kristac, your kids are soooooo adorable! I love this idea! I'll probably wait until next year, though, unless I can figure out how to get my 9 wk old to pose with a letter!

You can do it!! I'm not a photographer at all, and had to take quite a few to get some good ones. Here's what we ended up with - this was 2 years ago. I made new ones last year too. I will see if I can find those as well. I tried to get "milestone" pics for their ages this past year. It was fun. The one with her sleeping was rotated the correct way in the frame.

Found the ones from last year! It's fun because you can really see how much they grew in just a year! DD1 was able to easily climb her rock wall and wrote I [Heart] Dad on the paper, and the little one is walking, into dress up and could slide by herself.

I love the photo idea as well! I'd like to do it for the grandparents.

Where do I get the letters?
