Default Safety 1st infant carseat?

http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...63708*&topnav=

Is this a good seat? What is the height restrcition? I belive we will outgrow it by height first rather than weight, as my babies tend to be in the 75% for height and 25th for weight.

We plan on buying a RF convertible after this, or if DD is ready for a HBB, new baby gets to use her Radin in RF. Does this plan make sense?

It's pretty tall, has a front adjuster, can be used with the handle up. Overall, not bad on that count. The base is super cheesy, you'll need a pyramid of pool noodles to get enough recline, and it tends to not fit in a lot of strollers. So, pros and cons, depending on your needs and your budget, really.

Hmmm.... Thought we had enough carseats to mover new baby onto a convertible faster. Avoid buying the more weight/height infant seats, though I have considered the britax bsafe.

So for good fit and recline what carseat do you recommend in the 22 lb category?

Plan on using a snap and go type of system with it for the first 3-6 months. I have a red castle whizz for later and may consider getting a new stroller if DD wants to ride/stand in the future.

22 pound seats are pretty much phased out, but don't feel like you have to use any seat a super long time just because it has a higher weight limit. Snugride 30 is pretty nice, or Britax Bsafe, or Chicco Key Fit. I found myself using the infant seat longest with my youngest, because my older ones had so many places to go and we had such random hours.
