After having to scrub out J's vomit-y marathon, I figured I would do Sam's as well and I noticed this:
![]() ![]() It is on the right strap above the little velcro strip where the buckle piece sits. Is this fray or fuzz? I did a google image search but don't really see anything the convinces me one way or another. Should I replace the harness or is it normal wear and tear? The strap seems really solid except for these fibers. I would say fuzzy but some of the fibers are long. Edited to add: the seat has a DOM of 12/08, there is no fraying on the other strap or anywhere other than pictured on that strap. The strap you pull to tighten is perfect. I think I have gently cleaned the straps maybe twice before.

Looks fuzzy to me, not frayed. Pretty sure my seatbelts in my car look like that if I examine them, and I'm not concerned. If it nags at you and you want to use the seat constantly for the next couple years, a new harness might be nice for your peace of mind.
