Default Kohls Cash Purchase and Return?

Just received my online Kohl's Purchase and most of the items seem to run big and didn't fit. Kinda bummed. Was looking forward to wearing a piece or two over the long weekend for get togethers and such, but oh well.....

I paid for purchases using Kohls Cash and a 20% discount. When I go to return it, will I lose my Kohls Cash even if I ask for a merchandise credit? Obvious newbie here and need some insight from the gurus.

Thanks,

Pretty sure they give you merchandise credit. I have returned items that I purchased with kohls cash before and I am pretty sure that is what they did. You can call customer service and ask before you drive down there.

THey have recently changed their policies - I think they will still give you a merchandise credit. But I learned when I tried to return something I purchased that they no longer offer you the choice of getting merchandise credit if you've redeemed kohl's cash. In other words - if you buy a $50 shirt and get $10 in kohls cash and you use the $10 in Kohls' cash and two weeks later, you decide you don't like the shirt, you used to be able to return the shirt and either get $50 merchandise credit or $40 back in however you paid for the shirt. Now you just get $40 back for the shirt if you used the kohls cash... Hope that makes sense. It was frustrating only because I was returning something that was $12 and was goign to get $1 back, so I decided to keep it and give it away rather than get $1 back..

That sucks. I like shopping online because the Kohls I go to don't have a good of a selection and they usually only have large or x-large or x-small sizes only. If Kohls cash is such a losing proposition for them they they shoudln't offer it anymore.

Sometime it's hard to order online and get the right size even following the size charts which I did. All the clothes I ordered were too big for me. And by the time I got them, the Kohls Cash redemption was over so not much I can do about that. Oh well. Live and learn. Never redeem Kohls cash online.

Thanks,

Kohls definitely runs big - many cheaper merchants do - 'vanity sizing' I guess.
